What is coaching with helen like?

Coaching with me is about finding the spark that brings clarity and momentum, even when things feel foggy or unsettled.


I work with people who care deeply about their communities, their work, and their wellbeing. Many come to coaching when something is shifting. You might be navigating burnout, exploring a career transition, or simply looking to reconnect with your energy and sense of purpose. I create spaces that are grounded in trust and just a little electric. Spaces where you can feel more like yourself again.


My approach is rooted in deep listening and a belief that people think best when they feel truly heard. Drawing on the principles of “More Time to Think” by Nancy Kline, I hold space for your thinking to unfold, without rushing or interrupting. These sessions are energising and safe, and lead to fresh ideas, renewed energy, and a sense of courage about what’s next.


Each session is co-created. We begin by agreeing how we want to work and what kind of support you need that day. Some days you might want a gentle, reflective space. Other days, you’ll be ready to be stretched and challenged. I’ll meet you where you are and help you get the most from our time together.


I won’t give you advice or tell you what to do. Instead, I’ll ask thoughtful questions, listen closely, and support you to uncover your own answers. Coaching with me is a partnership that encourages insight, builds capability, and helps you take meaningful action.

Individual Coaching

One-to-one career coaching offers a personalised space to explore your professional journey. You can choose to meet in person in Bristol or connect virtually via Teams. These sessions are designed to help you gain clarity, build confidence, and take purposeful steps toward your goals, all within a supportive and focused environment. Helen specialises in coaching for burnout prevention and recovery. 

eco-coaching

Eco-coaching takes your career development outdoors, combining coaching with the restorative power of nature. Walking side by side in natural surroundings encourages reflection, creativity, and a sense of calm. This approach supports deeper insight and wellbeing while helping you move forward with intention. This is available in Bristol. 

team coaching

Team coaching strengthens collaboration and builds a foundation for lasting success. Through guided sessions, teams develop psychological safety, improve communication, and gain practical tools to work more effectively together. This process fosters trust, enhances dynamics, and supports a healthier, more productive team culture.
